Look before you buy: Check expiration dates of online items

Beware stolen merchandise being fenced online, especially in time for holiday bargain seekers, the National Retail Federation advises.
The group is alerting consumers to check expiration dates and packaging of some items on auction sites because they could be spoiled, tainted or out of date.
Items listed include Alli weight-loss pills; Gillette Fusion razors; Nicorette; Prilosec; Rogaine; Schick Quattro razors and Schick refill cartridges, and Blu-ray movies and players.
