Bears' march to Super Bowl XLI

Alex Brown isn't shy about telling people he was a Florida Gator before he was a Bear.

''Hey, I'm coming back home, and I have to represent my school, and that's my school,'' the fifth-year defensive end said. ''I had four or five great years there -- unbelievable -- and we're the best college in the world. Basketball, football ... you name it, and we're the best at it.''

Brown (above) is one of four former Gators who will be playing in the Super Bowl on Sunday, the most prominent being Bears quarterback Rex Grossman.

The University of Miami is well-represented, too, with three players, including a pair of Pro Bowlers -- Bears return man Devin Hester and Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne.

Even Florida International is represented by Bears safety Nick Turnbull.. Florida State is not represented, but that's because Colts defensive tackle Corey Simon is on the non-football injury list with an undisclosed illness.

Just making the Super Bowl is special enough, but to be able to come back and play in Florida has given the game a special meaning to those players.
