Hot wives needed to ignite the Fire

Manchester United will be coming to town for a match with the Fire on July 23 at Soldier Field.
Last year, global powerhouse AC Milan came to Chicago and played the Fire in a friendly at Toyota Park in Bridgeview. The only thing that was missing was a Fire victory — and AC Milan wives and girlfriends.
So naturally, Quick Hits wondered before Fire owner Andrew Hauptman had crossed the t’s and dotted the i’s on the ManU match contract whether it had a clause that would encourage WAGs to journey across the Atlantic. A Coleen Rooney (wife of star Wayne Rooney) or somebody — or bodies — else perhaps?
“We’ll see what we can do,” he assured Quick Hits.
“We don’t really worry about that. Maybe they’re looking for a Chicago wife or a Chicago girlfriend.”
Just don’t tell that to the wives and/or girlfriends back in Britain.
† Speaking of ManU, congratulations to Tyler Curtis of www.darkroomdemons.com. The Chicago photographer has been selected to be the official lensman of the team’s journey to the U.S. The only downside — from Quick Hits’ perspective — is this means less time for him to shoot nightlife and other interesting creatures.
