The Bulls will hold tryouts Saturday at the United Center for the IncrediBulls, the entertainment team that exhibits enthusiasm and has been known to shoot T-shirts into the crowd. Applicants must be 18 or older. Auditions will start at 9 a.m. Applications are available at bulls.com and must be filled out before arrival. Information also is available by calling (312) 455-4000.
† Bears Hall of Fame inductee Richard Dent is the scheduled speaker for the Retired Professional Football Players of Chicago Celebrity Golf Outing on July 19 at Bolingbrook Golf Club. Cost is $400 per golfer; dinner only is $100. Registration is available at www.golfinvite.com/nflpa. The event will benefit Dollars for Scholars.
† The National Pro Fastpitch Bandits are scheduled to take on the King and His Court — a male team composed of a pitcher, catcher, shortstop and first baseman — at 7:35 tonight at Rosemont Stadium.
† Among those expected to compete in the CoverGirl Classic on July 23 at the UIC Pavilion are Naperville’s Mackenzie Caquatto and 2008 Olympians Alicia Sacramone, Shawn Johnson and Chellsie Memmel. Other area gymnasts in the field are Bridgette Caquatto of Naperville, Anna Li of Aurora and Wesley Stephenson of Plainfield.
