Julian running back Jermaine Walker hasn't received any Division I scholarship offers yet, but that may change if he keeps making highlight-reel plays like the 38-yard touchdown run that gave the Jaguars a seesaw 30-26 win over Robeson on Sunday at Gately Stadium.

Walker, who carried 22 times for 182 yards and two touchdowns, began his spectacular run by dashing around left end for 10 yards, then cut back across the field and beat five defenders down the right sideline with 3:53 left in the fourth quarter.

''It was one of my greatest runs ever and it couldn't have come at a greater time,'' Walker said. ''I saw the linebacker coming, so I knew I had one end to beat. I gave him a stiff [arm] and then I came back inside and looked upfield and said 'There it is.'''

Walker then helped snuff Robeson's final drive, sacking Raiders quarterback Jonathan Johnson from behind with 1:30 remaining.

Julian quarterback Allen Wells connected with receiver Martinez Relerford for three scores.

Robeson, which was without star receiver Brandon Green (back spasms), had taken a 26-24 lead on Jonathon Williams' 15-yard touchdown run with 8:53 remaining.

Christopher Sesson rushed 10 times for 66 yards and two touchdowns for Robeson, while Johnson (7-of-14, 92 yards, INT) tossed a 15-yard scoring pass to Juwane Pipkins.

Leo 36, Gordon Tech 20
Robert Morgan (25 carries, 235 yards) put the Lions ahead for good early in the fourth quarter with his second touchdown run of the game. Quarterback Darwin Rogers threw a touchdown pass to Alex Miller and rushed for a touchdown.
