One of the stories of the fall around Chicago fishing was the good run of salmon for shore fishermen.
Brandon Infelise caught this beaut one September
night while casting a white/green K.O. Wobbler spoon at DuSable Harbor.

‘‘Thanks to the
gentleman down the way, we were able to weigh it on his digital scale,’’ Infelise e-mailed. ‘‘He called 18 pounds; I saw it at 17 pounds, 9 ounces.’’
