A tremendous fall run of shoreline salmon builds on southern Lake Michigan and serves up two Fish of the Week from Chicago’s Jackson Park/Casino Pier area, a South Side hotspot. Patricia “TrishaDaFisha” Cole sent her annual sagas of fall salmon, including a 12-pound king caught Thursday on a green and white wobbling spoon. “It was not even glo’d up!,’’ she e-mailed. “It was still daylight.” Meanwhile, the crew working for Bob Shirley at Anglers Outlet in Markham had a tremendous week. Josh Bultsma has one of the hottest streaks on the Chicago lakefront. “Four of our guys went to the lakefront [Friday] night,” Shirley e-mailed. “Everyone caught fish and that kid Josh, whose pictures I sent you, caught two again. That makes nine fish for him alone this week. I sure hope this keeps up.”
