Juan LaBoy of Franklin Park was casting a No. 7 Shad Rap at the mouth of Montrose Harbor on Sunday when he latched into a steelhead of nearly 12 pounds about 8:40 a.m.
‘‘Juan and I have worked together at Resurrection Medical Center on Talcott Avenue in Chicago for nearly 20 years and have fished a lot together,’’ Bernie Fay e-mailed. ‘‘Taking this picture of him with this fish was a great moment for me.’’
