Chicago’s 31st Street Harbor struts its lakefront stuff Thursday through Sunday with the second Chicago In-Water Boat Show. Besides the boats, on-water seminars for boaters and sailors are the strong suit.
‘‘The most rewarding part of this program for me is when people come off the boats, particularly those who have never boated before, and they have that smile,’’ said Capt. Tom Knighten, project leader for Discover Boating.
Tickets are $10 (15 and younger are free). Park at McCormick Place Lot B for $12, then walk or take the free shuttle. For more information, go to chicagoinwaterboatshow.com.
