Behanna (right) repeated as Chicago Carp King with the big fish (26 pounds, 9 ounces) Saturday at the Chicago Carp Classic. The first repeat in Carp Anglers Group history earned him FOTW honors.
Larry Seeman of Joliet caught three carp (40 pounds, 1 ounce) to become North American Carp Champion at the 19th CCC along the south side of Montrose Harbor.
Fishing was fair with 12 carp caught by the 53 entries. It was better pre-fishing Friday with reports on the CAG website of one pairing landing 14 carp.
