FISH OF THE WEEK
Jeremy Pinkowski, out with his dad on their first trip to Delavan Lake in southern Wisconsin, caught the biggest largemouth bass of his life over the weekend. The 10-year-old from Oak Forest was dragging a Sweet Beaver in 18 feet off a weed line.
“He is such a good fisherman, that kid,’’ his dad Rich Pinkowski said. “I was rigging something and I had the boat positioned. I told him to throw at the buoy. I see him lay back on this fish and the rod doubled down. He said, ‘Dad, I got one.’ I seen that sucker came up and, wow, I was shocked. I thought, ‘Holy smokes there are some big ones in this lake.’ ’’
