The competition Saturday featured Sa South Korea’s Lee Sang-hwa breaking her own world speedskating record in the 500 meters and the Netherlands topping its own mark in the men’s pursuit at the Olympic Oval.
Lee finished in 36.74 seconds to top the record of 36.80 she set in Calgary on Jan. 20.
The Netherlands had a time of 3:37.17, breaking the mark of 3:37.80 set in Salt Lake City in 2007.
