Danks’ fiancée finds her pitch

While White Sox pitcher John Danks gets his arm ready in spring training, fiancée Ashley Monroe has been getting her voice ready for her first solo album.
Monroe, 26, a member of the Pistol Annies, will release “Like A Rose” on March 5.
Monroe spent her childhood in Knoxville, Tenn., where she immersed herself in all varieties of music, including country — she’s not-too-distantly related to members of the legendary Carter Family — rock, pop, rap and even opera.
