Alex Rodriguez’s game appears to be slipping.
But not with the ladies.
The New York Post reports that after he was replaced in the eighth inning of Game 1 of the American League Championship Series, A-Rod tossed a ball to two attractive young women. Written on the ball was a request for their phone numbers.
One of the women wrote on the ball and tossed it back, according to the Post. A-Rod and the women then exchanged glances.
Rodriguez, his representatives and the Yankees have not commented.
If Rodriguez scored a number, it would be the highlight of his postseason. He’s 3-for-23 with no RBI and 12 strikeouts. His 2012 salary is $30 million.
