GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Joakim Andersson scored his second goal of the game at 3:17 of overtime to give the Grand Rapids Griffins a 5-4 victory against the Wolves in American Hockey League action at Van Andel Arena.

Andersson skated in alone from the Wolves’ blue line and snapped a shot over the glove of goalie Matt Climie to give the Griffins (10-11-1-0) the victory. Climie made 36 saves for the Wolves (9-7-1-3), who had their five-game road winning streak broken.

Mark Mancari notched the sixth hat trick of his AHL career for the Wolves, who also got a goal from Jordan Schroeder, three assists from Darren Haydar and two assists from Chris Tanev.

Each team scored four goals in the first two peri-
ods, with the Griffins opening leads of 3-1 and 4-2
before the Wolves rallied. All three of Mancari’s goals came in a 41/2-minute span of the second period, with two of them coming on the power play.

The Wolves return home for a game against the
Abbotsford Heat at 4 p.m. Sunday at Allstate Arena. The Heat beat the Wolves 3-2 in a shootout Friday.
