Wolves fall to IceHogs for 2nd night in row

Brian Connelly and Byron Froese scored third-period goals, and Carter Hutton stopped 37 of the 39 shots he faced to lead the Rockford IceHogs to a 3-2 victory Saturday against the Wolves in American Hockey League action at Allstate Arena.

Rostislav Olesz scored in the first period for the IceHogs (17-21-1-3), who beat the Wolves (21-16-1-3) by the same score Friday in Rockford.

Kevin Connauton scored in the first period and Tim Miller in the second for the Wolves, who dominated play for most of the game and outshot the IceHogs 39-20.

The Wolves visit the
Abbotsford Heat for back-to-back games Tuesday and Wednesday.
