Blackhawks single-game tickets went on sale on Monday morning, and fans who were fortunate enough to score seats had to pay on average 17 percent more to do so.

The Hawks confirmed that ticket prices went up on average 17 percent, depending on the seat location and the game. Twelve games, including the sold-out season-opener on Oct. 1 against Washington, before which the Hawks will raise their Stanley Cup championship banner, have been labeled “premier” games based on the opponent or the date, with higher prices per ticket.

In May, the Hawks raised season-ticket prices on average 16 percent.
