It sounds crazy, borderline insane, but ... wouldn’t it be great if the Bears reached out to Brett Favre as their backup quarterback.
Com’on, admit it! Didn’t one, little bitty part of your brain consider the far-fetched idea of bringing No. 4 back in a Bears uniform?
When our own Richard Roeper brought it up to Brian Urlacher, the Bears middle linebacker wouldn’t stop laughing.
But, before you excuse this as some hypothetical drivel, consider how beneficial this would be for the broken spirits of Bears fans after Jay Cutler’s unfortunate injury.
