IRS hits Richard Dent with $1.1M tax lien

Former Bears great Richard Dent was sacked in March with a more than $1.1 million tax lien by the IRS for failure to pay taxes.
The IRS has filed a more than $1.1 million tax lien against Chicago Bears great Richard Dent for failing to pay federal taxes, according to public records.
DeKalb County Superior Court in Georgia filed a $1,160,056 tax lien against Dent on March 8, about one month after Dent was elected for Pro Football’s Hall of Fame.
Dent is scheduled to be the Bears’ guest representative for their second-round pick of the NFL Draft on Friday.
