Bears' march to Super Bowl XLI

Defensive end Alex Brown, a native of White Springs, Fla., was sporting a Florida Gators tie as the Bears arrived Sunday in Miami.

Brown was quick to point out that Colts quarterback Peyton Manning was 0-3 as a starter at Tennessee when facing Florida -- not to mention the fact the Gators are reigning national champions in both football and men's basketball.

"I'm coming back home," Brown said. "I had four or five great years there. It was unbelievable and one of the best colleges in the world. So basketball, football -- you name it, we're the best at it."

At least Manning is more life-sized for Brown now. Brown redshirted during his freshman season with a broken foot when Manning was a senior for the Volunteers.

"I remember watching him," Brown said. "He's huge. He's like 6-5, 6-6, and I thought he was a lot bigger than that. It seemed like he was about 6-8 out there."

He'll look 3 inches shorter come Sunday.
