Bears minicamp video: Major Wright with the pick and pose

It’s the early days of Bears minicamp, but already the team is making strides.
First, safety Major Wright looks healthy and happy. After picking off a Jay Cutler floater on Wednesday, Wright scampered down the sideline (ahem, he may have stepped out ... a few times) and returned the interception for a score and celebratory pose down.
Second, and MOST importantly, Cutler did not chase Wright. You might recall Cutler’s (read Bears’) 2011 season ended when he tried tackling the Chargers’ Antoine Cason after throwing a interception. Cutler broke his thumb on the play. The then 7-3 Bears ended up 8-8 and out of the playoffs.
