WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue quarterback Caleb TerBush will start for the Boilermakers against Notre Dame on Saturday.
Purdue coach Danny Hope said Tuesday that TerBush set himself apart from the other quarterbacks earlier this year.
TerBush was suspended before last week’s season opener when the Boilermakers beat Eastern Kentucky, 48-6. Quarterback Robert Marve started for the Boilermakers and threw for a career-high 295 yards on 30 of 38 passing and three touchdowns.
Despite the performance, Hope said that TerBush’s game management sets himself apart from the other quarterbacks on the squad, which also includes junior Rob Henry.
