Fedor finds Bears game better on TV

November 4, 2009

Bears fans weren't the only ones disappointed with Sunday's game.

Fedor Emelianenko and Brett Rogers were at Soldier Field to promote Saturday's fight on CBS. The Russian was less than impressed with a game that began with five straight three-and-outs.

''I found the game interesting,'' Emelianenko said. ''But what I think, the games I watch on TV seem to be more interesting, more exciting.''

Would the world's top MMA heavyweight have been a good football player?

''I don't know. When you watch from the side, it usually seems to be easy. Maybe to fight during the game, I could do that. But I don't think I would have the enough energy to play -- maybe with my friends ... but strictly speaking, I don't think so. And plus I don't really know the rules.''
