Bulls to get ample TV exposure

More than half the Bulls’ games will be on national television, and all 66 regular-season games will be televised.
Comcast SportsNet will televise 35 regular season games, including Chicago’s home opener versus the Memphis Grizzlies at 7 p.m. on New Year’s Day. Comcast SportsNet will also broadcast Chicago’s preseason contest versus the Indiana Pacers on Dec. 20. WGN-TV will televise 14 regular season games, plus Chicago’s preseason opener at Indiana on Dec. 16; 10 of those games will air nationally on WGN America. WCIU-TV rounds out the Bulls’ local television schedule with six regular season games. Bulls TV play-by-play man Neil Funk and color analyst Stacey King will provide the call for every local Bulls telecast.
Chicago’s season opener on Christmas Day will be televised nationally on ABC, as the Bulls travel to Los Angeles to take on the Lakers. The following night on Dec. 26, WGN-TV will broadcast its first game of the regular season when the Bulls face the Golden State Warriors. That game will also be seen nationally on WGN America. Comcast SportsNet will televise its first regular season game on Dec. 29 from Sacramento as the Bulls take on the Kings. Finally, WCIU-TV will televise its first game of the regular season on Jan. 6 from Orlando when the Bulls go up against the Magic.
In addition to Chicago’s 10 nationally-televised games on WGN America, the Bulls will also appear on ESPN 10 times, TNT seven times, ABC five times and NBA-TV four times for a total of 36 national broadcasts.
