Derrick Rose MVP highlights

Here’s a look at some of the accomplishments for Bulls guard Derrick Rose during his MVP season:

+ At 22 years and seven months, Rose becomes the youngest player to win the award. Wes Unseld was five months older when he won in 1969.

+ Rose was the only player in the league this season to be in the Top 10 in points (25) and assists (7.7). Rose also grabbed 4.1 rebounds per game.

+ Rose joins LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Jerry West and Oscar Robertson as the only players to average at least 25 points, 7.5 assists and 4 rebounds in a season.

+ Rose joins Michael Jordan (five times) as the only other MVP in franchise history.
