The last time the Bulls saw Stephen Curry three weeks ago, the All-Star point guard lit them up for 34 points in a 15-point Warriors win out in the Bay Area.

Call Kirk Hinrich the cooler.

Thanks to Hinrich’s harassing defense the entire night, Curry finished 2-for-10 from the floor for a mere five points. That tied a season-low for Curry, who averages just over 24 points per game.

Bigger picture? The 103-83 win on Wednesday improved the Bulls to 31-26, and was their seventh win over their last eight games. Not bad for a team that was coming off a 107-103 nail-biter just 24 hours earlier in Atlanta, while Golden State (35-23) was supposed to be the well-rested team, having Tuesday night off in Chicago.

Offensively, it was another efficient night with no real star, but a lot of bodies contributing. Taj Gibson led the Bulls in scoring with 21 points off the bench, while Joakim Noah finished with only eight points, but snagged 17 rebounds and handed out seven assists.

The Bulls had four players in double figures, shooting 37-for-83 (44.6 percent) on the night, while keeping Golden State’s long-range shooters to just 5-for-21 (23.8 percent) from beyond the three-point line.
