It didn’t take Derrick Rose long to find his way back to the Berto Center, as the point guard showed up on crutches Wednesday afternoon, and according to coach Tom Thibodeau, has been around the last few days.

Rose, who had surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee on Nov. 25, will speak to the media for the first time after the Thursday afternoon shootaround, but won’t start any sort of physical rehab for at least three more weeks.

As far as Rose’s psyche, Thibodeau insisted that it’s already fully healed. Now, if only the coach could get his players to have the same mentality as their 2011 MVP.

“Well we know what we have to do,’’ Thibodeau said, when asked if he still felt his team was suffering a Rose hangover. “You could use that all you want, but you’ve got to be ready to play, you’ve got to move on. Frankly, we have to take on Derrick’s approach. Derrick has already moved past it. He’s thinking about what he has to do the rest of the way, this summer, being ready for next year, talking to me about the team, what we have to do. And that’s what I see from our team. I don’t see anyone hanging their head. He’s not going to be here, we know that. We’ve got more than enough here. Just concentrate on what we have to concentrate on.’’
