If the Indiana Pacers truly are the team to beat in the Central Division this upcoming season, the Bulls will become very acquainted with them early on.
The 2013-14 NBA preseason schedule was announced on Thursday afternoon, and the Bulls will open it up at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Oct. 5, facing off against the defending division champions.
The game against the Pacers will be the first of eight preseason games for the Bulls, including three neutral site games in St. Louis, Mo., on Oct. 7 against Memphis, Oct. 12 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, against the Wizards, and in Wichita, Kan., facing Oklahoma City on Oct. 23.
The game in Brazil will have extra attention on it, as the Bulls and Washington will be participating in the NBA Global Games, which will be the NBA’s first-ever game played in that country.
The Bulls will also host preseason games versus the Detroit Pistons (Oct. 16), the Pacers (Oct. 18), the Milwaukee Bucks (Oct. 21) and the Denver Nuggets (Oct. 25), all to be played at the United Center.
Tickets for every Bulls home game will go on sale at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4 at Bulls.com, NBAtickets.com, the United Center box office, Ticketmaster locations or by calling 1-800-4NBA-TIX.
