D ennis Rodman is on the cover of this week’s Sports Illustrated.

No, he’s not coming back. He’s one of the featured athletes in the magazine’s annual “Where Are They Now?” summer issue. With quotes like this, it’s no wonder Rodman gained the cover: “If you ranked the 10 most identifiable people on the planet, I’d be Number 5. I’d come in right after

God , Jesus , Muhammad Ali and Barack Obama .”Ahead of

Michael Jordan , SI cover boy more than 50 times?

The selection of Rodman for the cover of the “Where Are They Now?” issue did seem a bit dubious, considering how closely his recent movements — especially his trek to North Korea — have been monitored.

The ever-humble Rodman told the magazine: “If I don’t finish in the top three for the next Nobel Peace Prize, something’s seriously wrong.”
