Who would have guessed that Derrick Rose got off more pre-game shots Tuesday night than Kirk Hinrich?
A right thumb injury sidelined Hinrich against the Milwaukee Bucks in the Bulls’ fourth game of the preseason, while it was Rose who got some pre-game attention, as television cameras caught the one-time MVP going through his normal daily shooting routine.
Rose, who is recovering from a torn left ACL, has been shooting for more than a month now, but usually tries to do it away from the cameras. That was his first shoot-around at the United Center, however, since he suffered the knee injury in the first round of the playoffs against Philadelphia.
