Going to a White Sox game with a major sweet tooth and 17 bucks in your pocket?
Here’s the scoop, or 12 scoops rather, on how to satisfy your urge:
U.S. Cellular Field concessions are offering a three-pound banana split that includes four scoops each of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream. It’s described as being “drizzled with luscious caramel and strawberry sauces and chocolate syrup then topped with whipped cream and cherries.’’
The sundae comes in a full-size batting helmet and — we can only hope — multiple spoons.
It’s meant to feed more than one person and is available for fans in the Club Level, Diamond Suites or Stadium Club.
New menu offerings on the 100-level and 500-level include pierogies, cinnamon pretzel bites and a Guinness float as well as the Pork Chop Sandwich, Bacon-on-a-stick, Adobe Mango Chicken Sausage, Xfinity Zone Carved Sandwiches and Beggars Pizza.
The park’s selection of beers and craft beers has also been expanded.
