The White Sox’ record fell to 10-14 Sunday after an 8-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Sox split the four-game series with the Rays, ending the homestand at 3-5.

Nate Jones (0-2) took the loss in relief after starter Dylan Axelrod worked six innings, leaving the game in a 3-3 tie.

David Price (1-2) earned his first victory of the season.

Paul Konerko homered for the Sox in the third, his fourth of the season and the 426th of his career, tying him with Billy Williams for 45th on the all-time list.

Matt Joyce (4th) and Jose Lobaton (2nd) homered for the Rays.

The Sox had six hits in the game but two errors, including Alex Rios’ dropped fly ball in the eighth leading to two unearned Tampa runs.
