One of the most popular players from the White Sox’ 2005 World Series champions has something to say about the 2012 Sox.

To find out exactly what that will be, tune in to 670-AM on Saturday and Sunday afternoons for Sox broadcasts from Yankee Stadium, where former Sox center fielder Aaron Rowand is scheduled to sit behind a mic alongside play-by-play man Ed Farmer.

Rowand will replace Darrin Jackson, who will be unavailable for the two games because of family matters.

A fan favorite for his hustling style and penchant for crashing into outfield walls, Rowand played five of his 11 major-league seasons on the South Side. In the 2005 postseason, he batted .267 with eight runs, six doubles, four walks and a stolen base.

He also played for the Philadelphia Phillies and San Francisco Giants, batting .267 with 136 home runs and 536 RBI in his career.

The Sox mix it up in the TV booth when Tom Paciorek fills in for Steve Stone to join his former sidekick Ken Harrelson. This is the first time this year Jackson will take time off.
