The wife of ex-Cub Milton Bradley is claiming the baseball player abused her in a divorce filing, according to a report by radaronline.com.
Monique Bradley claims the Seattle Mariners outfielder threw a glass from a coffee table at her on New Year’s Eve while they were in New York, the report states. After the incident, she requested a restraining order against her husband on Jan 24.
“The glass shattered on my head and I started to bleed,” Monique Bradley said in the report. “As soon as Milton saw me bleeding, he started crying and begging me to forgive him. He stated that he lost it and that he would kill himself if I left him. I did not know what to do.”
The Bradleys have two children and have been married six years.
