MILWAUKEE — Anthony Rizzo took on the business department one day and took care of business the next, belting two home runs Saturday in the Cubs’ 8-0 victory over the Brewers.

Asked Friday about Wrigley Field renovation delays, the Cubs first baseman said players get “sick of hearing it’s going to be done and just want to see it get done.”

On Saturday, Rizzo hit a pair of two-run homers off Brewers starter Wily Peralta, one in the fourth inning and one in the sixth, for the Cubs’ first four runs of the game.

Cubs starter Jason Hammel (6-3) struck out a season-high eight in seven scoreless innings to run his career record against the Brewers to 5-0, including both of the Cubs’ wins in four games this season at Miller Park.

Peralta (4-5), who entered the game with the fifth-best ERA in the National League, retired the first nine Cubs he faced before running into trouble. He appeared to be battling back soreness, at one point drawing the attention of the Brewers trainer for a visit to the mound in the second inning. Peralta failed to finish the sixth.
