The White Sox will open the 2014 season at home against the Minnesota Twins on March 31, the team announced Tuesday. It will mark the seventh time in the last 10 years the Sox open at home.
The Sox play the Cubs at Wrigley Field May 5-6 and host the Cubs May 7-8. Their first road trip is at Kansas City on April 4-6, which includes their first interleague series against the Colorado Rockies April 7-9.
Other interleague games include at San Francisco August 12-13, at home against the Giants June 17-18, home against the Diamondbacks May 9-11, home against the Padres May 30-June 1 and at the Los Angeles Dodgers on June 2-4 at Dodger Stadium.
The schedule is tentative and subject to change. Finalized game times and a complete broadcast schedule will be released at a later date.
