When it comes to the alphabet, Cubs fans wish “W” stood for “winning,” instead of the iconic ballpark at Clark and Addison.
“W is for Wrigley: A Friendly Confines Alphabet” is the name of a new children’s book written by Brad Herzog and illustrated by John Hanley. The book will be released Monday in time for the April 2014 centennial celebration of the stadium’s first game.
The book will honor the park’s history and the greats who have played there. To order a copy, visit sleepingbearpress.com.
