If Michael can have his “Air Jordans” then President Obama can have his “Air Force Ones.”
When the President played in a recent Thanksgiving weekend basketball game, he was photographed carrying a pair of Under Armour basketball sneakers unlike any others. Well, they were unlike any except for maybe a pair of shoes that Bucks guard Brandon Jennings released a photo of this summer while working as an intern at Under Armour during the NBA lockout.
That photo showed red, white and black UA shoes with the presidential seal emblazoned on the tongue, the same sneakers Obama carried under his arm Saturday after a pickup game at Fort McNair in Washington, D.C.
Under Armour reportedly is expected to release the shoe next year.
