Alexa Flutie, the daughter of former Bears quarterback Doug Flutie, is a cheerleader for the New England Patriots.
The 23-year-old aspiring dancer will be cheering for the same team her dad once quarterbacked. Apparently, though, Doug’s legacy didn’t pave her way onto the squad. Alexa failed to make the cut in four previous tryouts, according to lostletterman.com.
Alexa won’t be the only daughter of a famous sports figure cheerleading in the NFL. Bianca LaRussa, the daughter of Cardinals manager Tony La Russa, is an Oakland Raiderette.
