San Francisco Giants

Outlook: They retained much of their roster heading into 2011. Ross injured his calf March 24 and will miss three weeks. Tejada steps in at shortstop to replace departed World Series MVP Renteria.

Outlook: Despite the offensive prowess of Tulowitzki and Gonzalez, the Rockies can’t rely on them alone. The rotation is young and promising, and the bullpen should be a strength, too.

Outlook: Crucial will be a young rotation headed by Kennedy (26) Hudson (24) and Enright (23). The D-backs have experience and strength up the middle, and they could produce a San Diego-like resurrection. We’ll see.
