Notre Dame picked up its third defensive lineman this month as Elijah Taylor orally committed to play football for the school.
The 6-foot-3, 285-pound defensive tackle is from Moeller High School in Cincinnati.
“I’m officially committed to The University of Notre Dame!” Taylor wrote on Twitter Friday.
Taylor is a three-star recruit. Rivals.com ranks Taylor No. 31 among all defensive tackles in the country for the Class of 2015. The site also ranks him No. 22 for all players in Ohio.
Taylor is the 12th member of Notre Dame’s Class of 2015. Defensive tackles Brandon Tiassum (Park Tudor School, Indianapolis) and Micah Dew-Treadway (Bolingbrook High School) orally committed to Notre Dame earlier this month.
