Northwestern football players to hold union election April 25

The Northwestern football players will vote on April 25 to determine whether they would like to unionize, a source confirmed Wednesday.
On March 26 the Chicago office of the National Labor Relations Board ruled in favor of the College Athletes Players Association, which sought for the Wildcats players to be recognized as employees. After the regional director had ruled in CAPA’s favor, he directed an election to take place.
