Curie, 6-9 junior center: Ranked fourth in the national Class of 2014. All-Public League first team.

Sterling Brown

Proviso East, 6-4 senior guard: Signed with SMU. Led Proviso East to 24-3 record and West Suburban championship.

Jalen Brunson

Stevenson, 6-1 sophomore guard: Considered one of the two best guards in area. Led Stevenson to 23-4 record and North Suburban title.

David Cohn

York, 6-2 senior guard: Signed with Colorado State. Four-year player for Dukes. Averaged 17 points, five rebounds, four assists.

Kyle Davis

Morgan Park, 6-1 senior guard: Signed with Dayton. Averaged 21 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals.

Morris Dunnigan

Joliet West, 6-2 senior guard: Averaged 17 points. All-Tournament first team at Pontiac Holiday Tournament.

Alvin Ellis

De La Salle, 6-3 senior guard: Signed with Minnesota. Scored over 1,000 points in his career. Averaged 20 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists.

Billy Garrett Jr.

Morgan Park, 6-4 senior guard: Signed with DePaul. Averaged 22 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds. First team All-Public League selection.

Josh McAuley

West Aurora, 6-7 senior forward: All-Tournament first team at Pontiac. One of the area’s top shot blockers. Helped lead his team to 20-6 record.

Alex Majewski

Brother Rice, 6-7 senior forward: Averaged 21 points and 7 rebounds while shooting over 60 percent from the field and over 40 percent from three.

Matt Mooney

Notre Dame, 6-3 senior guard: Signed with Air Force. Averaged 17 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists per game while shooting 55 percent from the floor.

Kendrick Nunn

Simeon, 6-3 senior guard: Signed with Illinois. Spectacular career with three Class 4A state championships and a city championship.

Sean O’Brien

Mundelein, 6-7 senior forward: Signed with SIU. Posted second triple-double this season with 18 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists vs. Libertyville.

Sean O’Mara

Benet, 6-9 junior center: One of the state’s dominant big men, he led Redwings to 24-5 record and first place in the stacked East Suburban Catholic.

Young, 6-11 junior center: All-Public League first team selection. Top player in the national Class of 2014. Averaged 21 points and 9 rebounds.

Jabari Parker

Simeon, 6-9 senior forward: Signed with Duke. McDonald’s All-American. All-Public League first team. One of the state’s all-time great players.

LJ Peak

Young, 6-5 junior guard: Possibly the state’s most talented defender. Transferred from South Carolina. Helped Dolphins to 24-3 record and city title.

Miles Simelton

Oswego, 6-0 senior guard: Averaged 18 points and 4 assists. First team All-Tournament at Proviso West Holiday Tournament.

Tyler Ulis

Marian Catholic, 5-8 junior guard: The state’s best guard. Averaged 22 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds and 3 steals.

Milik Yarbrough

Zion-Benton, 6-6 junior forward: Averaged 23 points, and hit game-winners against Warren and Lake Forest.
