With the Bears eyeing offensive linemen at the Senior Bowl because of real needs for improvement up front, here’s a look at how their offensive linemen (who played at least 25 percent of the snaps) fared this season.
Using Pro Football Focus, which general manager Phil Emery said he uses for his evaluations, the Bears didn’t have one player with a positive grade.
PFF looks at every play and grades every snap with positive and negative ratings. San Francisco 49ers tackle Joe Staley (40.4), Philadelphia Eagles guard Evan Mathis (51.3) and Minnesota Vikings center John Sullivan (27.3) rated the best at their positions.
