Dallas Cowboys v Washington Redskins
Kansas City Chiefs v Denver Broncos
Mike Singletary — Bears’ Hall of Fame linebacker has impeccable credentials as a motivator and his work with linebackers is impressive. But he was a little too over-the-top in a three-year stint as the 49ers’ head coach (18-22 from 2008-10).
Keith Armstrong, Special Teams Coordinator, Atlanta Falcons – He’s a familiar face at Halas Hall, having served as special teams coordinator from 1997 to 2000. He’s had Top-10 ranked special teams units in Atlanta the last four seasons. Interviewed with the Bears and Kansas City Chiefs Tuesday, and he’ll meet with the Philadelphia Eagles Wednesday.
New Orleans Saints 2011 Headshots
Tom Clements, Offensive Coordinator, Green Bay Packers – The Bears tried to interview the former Notre Dame quarterback for their coordinator position in 2010, before hiring Mike Martz. But the Packers blocked them. Clements has been Aaron Rodgers position coach, but he was an O-C for the first time this season, after Joe Philbin left to be the head coach of the Miami Dolphins.
Darrell Bevell, Offensive Coordinator, Seattle Seahawks – Started as an offensive assistant for Packers but was promoted to QB coach. Coordinated Vikings dynamic offense that was led by Brett Favre. Has earned praise again, developing rookie Russel Wilson
Joe Decamillis, Special Teams Coordinator, Dallas Cowboys – Wrapped up his third season as the Cowboys special teams coach, and he’s developed a stable of Pro Bowl players. Energetic coach who has coached special teams over 20 years in the NFL.
Rick Dennison, Offensive Coordinator, Houston Texans – Former Broncos linebacker, started out as a special teams coach. Made reputation for his mastery of coaching the offensive line. This year, Texans offense ranked 7th overall, but he didn't call plays.
Dave Toub, Special Teams Coordinator, Chicago Bears -- Longtime Bears assistant has distinguished himself as one of the best in his area of expertise. Earned an interview for Dolphins head coaching vacancy last offseason. Would be a long shot.
Mike Priefer, Vikings special teams coach — A former Navy pilot, Priefer has built successful special teams with the Giants, Chiefs, Broncos and Vikings in his 11 years. In his second year in Minnesota, the Vikings ranked among the Top 10 special teams.
Marc Trestman, Montreal Alouettes: CFL coach has had a history of helping quarterbacks, including former NFL MVP Rich Gannon. Has worked with Bears backup Jason Campbell and Jay Cutler in offseason.
