Tough loss for Chicago as Sarah Kustok leaves CSN

Chicago will lose one of its own when sports reporter Sarah Kustok signs off with Comcast SportsNet Chicago in the coming weeks.
The versatile announcer began her career with CSN in 2009 and more recently has performed fill-in anchor and studio work for Channel 5.
“We truly appreciate everything Sarah has provided our network over the past three and a half years,” Comcast said in a statement. “It was a pleasure watching her talents grow with each and every project she handled for us. On behalf of all of us at Comcast SportsNet Chicago, [we] wish her nothing but the best of luck with her future endeavors.”
No word yet as to where the Orland Park native is headed, but her connection with NBC and her previous work at ESPN could land her a national job.
