  <description><![CDATA[High school sports editor Steve Tucker began working for the Sun-Times in the fall of 1984 and has been in charge of high school sports and writing a weekly column since 1998, He has been a beat writer for high school football, swimming, basketball and softball. He is a member of the McDonald's All-American committee for girls basketball, a consultant for the Parade All-American girls high school basketball team and a voting member of the Associated Press poll for women's basketball. He has also covered college women's basketball and softball and is a member of the Illinois Basketball Coaches' Association and Chicago Public League Basketball Coaches' Association Halls of Fame.]]></description>
