When I first looked at the astrological comparison between Prince William and Catherine Middleton I wasn’t sure I liked what I saw emotionally with regard to royal interference, but looking closer I realized this couple has a deep connection that will help guide them through interesting times as well as any external meddling.
Being polar opposites (William a Cancer and Kate a Capricorn) is a good thing. It’s sort of like being bookends or two pieces of a puzzle that fit strategically together, which I might add is so important when your relationship is under a microscope. Both Kate and William have their natal Moon (emotions) strategically placed in the sign Cancer — the sign that Princess Diana was born under. This is a good thing and will help the couple stick together when faced with media scrutiny. Mentally and physically the pair matches up nicely and when it comes to opportunity the Prince offers Kate the status of a Princess and Kate offers William strength courage and stability.
For those born in 1982, like Kate and William, Saturn’s return is making them reevaluate. It’s a time to make choices and decisions so this couple has picked a very opportune time to make a commitment to each other. What strikes me as interesting — in 1982 the year both Kate and William were born — Mars stationed in Libra the first eight months of the year and oddly enough Kate and William ended up with Mars situated in virtually the same spot in their charts.
In Prince William’s chart Mars is adversely positioned to his natal Moon (Moon represents his mother, wife, women in his life) and in Kate’s it is adversely positioned to both her Moon and her Sun (Sun represents father husband, men in her life). Even so there is such a strong connection between the Mars in both charts to Kate’s Mercury in Aquarius and William’s Mercury in Gemini (the way they both think react and converse) that I doubt they have any trouble communicating.
The Mars in both charts is also nicely positioned to Kate’s Venus (love, health, beauty and creativity), which is highly passionate and certainly favorable when it comes to having children.
As for little royals entering the picture — Kate becoming pregnant this fall and giving birth next summer is a possibility; however, should they decide to play it safe and wait awhile longer the summer of 2012 will also be a splendid time to begin the process of starting a family.
