Bean bonanza

MAKES 6 SERVINGS

½ cup vinegar

½ cup vegetable oil

1/3 cup sugar

1 teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon pepper

1 (16-ounce) can cut green beans, drained

1 (15-ounce) can kidney beans or garbanzo beans, drained

1 small green pepper, cored and finely chopped

¼ cup white onion, finely chopped

Mix vinegar, oil, sugar, salt and pepper; mix in drained beans, green pepper and onion. Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours. Just before serving, remove salad from dressing with slotted spoon.
