MAKES 10 SERVINGS

3 pounds ground chuck

1/4 cup oil

2 medium onions, chopped

1 medium green pepper, chopped

2 cups chopped celery

½ cup sweet pickle relish

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon salt (optional)

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 (12-ounce) bottle chili sauce

1/4 cup cider vinegar

Brown ground chuck in oil; add chopped onions, green pepper and celery, sauteing each addition. Add pickle relish, brown sugar, salt (optional), Worcestershire, chili sauce and vinegar. Simmer 30 minutes. Serve on toasted buns.
